YELLOWSTONE STATE PARK

Reser­va­tions: You can reserve a site 48 hours to 11 months before the date of arrival. You also may make reser­va­tions via the Inter­net 24 hours a day.

Reserve a Camp­site

Camp­ground

Yel­low­stone Lake State Park offers 128 indi­vid­ual camp­sites; 108 are reserv­able and 38 have elec­tri­cal hookups. There are also five group sites. The camp­ground is open April through November.

Vault toi­lets and drink­ing water are avail­able year-round. A dump­ing sta­tion, flush toi­lets and show­ers are avail­able seasonally.

Camp­ing Tips and Rules

Group camp­ing: There are five reserv­able, tent only, group sites. Three of the sites have elec­tri­cal hookups. The max­i­mum num­ber of indi­vid­u­als on most sites is 30. Group site 204 can acco­mo­date 50 indi­vid­u­als. Group site 206 is a walk-in site only (no vehicles).

Acces­si­ble Facil­i­ties: Camp­sites 42 and 49 have elec­tric­ity and are acces­si­ble to vis­i­tors with dis­abil­i­ties. Acces­si­ble flush toi­lets and show­ers are also avail­able in the camp­ground. At the west end of the park is an acces­si­ble pic­nic shel­ter and vault toilts and at the lower boat land­ing there is an acces­si­ble fish­ing and pic­nic area.

Spe­cial Notice: To help pre­vent the dev­as­tat­ing effects of the emer­ald ash borer and other wood-borne insects, no fire­wood may be trans­ported into Yel­low­stone Lake or any other state park from more than 50 miles away or from quar­an­tined areas.
